Otel AI Releases New Product Video: The AI That Gives You Your Morning Back

Otel AI, the AI that does the work in hotels, today released a new product video showing how hotel teams use the platform to run their day-to-day operations. The release comes alongside a redesigned website and continued growth beyond the company’s original design-partner base into new markets.
Otel’s mission is simple: free hotel teams to spend their time with guests, not spreadsheets. The platform plugs into the systems a hotel already runs — PMS, RMS, rate shopper, payroll, POS, procurement, comp set and guest reviews — and works them as one hotel.
Hotel teams use it for three things. They ask anything on their own hotel’s data, answered in seconds. They automate the reporting that eats the morning — “email me a morning brief at 8am” is the entire setup. And they create agents that watch while they sleep, checking new bookings, competitor moves and rate parity, identifying upsell opportunities, and only speaking up when something needs them.
“To hotel teams, Otel feels like one co-worker,” said Paul Ryan, CEO and co-founder of Otel. “Behind the scenes, specialised AI agents share context, check each other’s work, and bring the right answer or the finished job to the right person.”
Why Now
“I was at HITEC in San Antonio earlier this year — the biggest hotel tech conference there is, and probably the best one I’ve been to,” said Ryan. “But walk the floor and talk to any general manager or revenue manager and you hear the same thing: everyone is talking about AI, and almost none of it has reached the back office. Teams are still living in Excel and spending an hour or two a day on manual reporting. That’s exactly the gap we built Otel to close.”
Proven in Hotels
Across its customers, Otel gives commercial teams back the thing they never have enough of: time. Revenue teams are saving more than 20 hours a week that went into manual reporting and cross-system data-stitching. General managers are saving over 10 hours a week on the morning routine alone.
With the time back, hotels are doing more. Teams are making five to ten times the number of pricing decisions each month, and taking roughly 200% more actions across their operations. At The Alex in Dublin, part of the O’Callaghan Collection, RevPAR rose 8.6% in the hotel’s first three months on the platform, and its RevPAR index against the comp set reached 110.4.
The newest customer story, published this week, follows The Johnstown Collection — where Otel grew from two curious users to ten across The Johnstown Estate and Trim Castle Hotel, saving an estimated hour and a half every morning on pickup reporting alone. A New Website, Built Around the Product
Alongside the video, Otel has launched a redesigned website at otelai.com. The new site is built around what hotel teams use the product for, with walkthroughs, customer case studies, and a breakdown for every role on the commercial team — general managers, revenue managers and owners. Briefs now land straight into Microsoft Teams, and when an agent spots something, it speaks up there too — so hotels see what needs attention without leaving the tools they already use.
