Three Flows Worth Stealing

Real Flows, built by revenue managers and GMs on live hotels last month. The words they wrote are below. Copy any of them into Otel as they are.

What a Flow actually is

A Flow is just a task written in plain English. You describe what you want, it runs automatically, and the work comes back to your inbox. No setup beyond the sentence itself. Here's what three hotels are already running.

Flow 1: The events sheet that builds itself

Revenue Manager · Castle hotel, Co. Dublin

"Every evening at 7pm, build tomorrow's events sheet: every function with times and covers, restaurant and bar opening hours, packages in house, VIPs and occasions, and who's on duty in each department from this week's rosters. Where something's missing, leave the cell yellow so we can fill it. Email it to the HODs."

It replaced a sheet somebody rebuilt by hand every afternoon out of four systems and a roster PDF. It now lands before the evening handover, weekends included.

Flow 2: The Monday sales meeting pack

Revenue Manager · Independent hotel, Kilkenny

"Every Monday at 8am, build the weekly commercial pack: budget versus on the books for the next six months, last week's pickup by segment and channel, and where we're up or down on last year. Excel, emailed to me before the sales meeting."

In the words of our customer who wrote and ran this Flow: "Forty minutes, every week, and I don't have to do it any more."

Flow 3: The upgrade the front desk kept forgetting

General Manager · Boutique hotel, Dublin

"Every morning at 7am, list any reservation booked yesterday with two adults in a single room, rate and arrival date, and email it to front office as an upgrade list."

It had been on the front-desk checklist for years, and kept being forgotten. It doesn't get forgotten now.

Steal one for your hotel

None of these needed an integration project or a training session. Someone wrote a sentence, and the work started arriving on its own.

If one of these matches how your hotel runs, copy it in as written and adjust the details: property, times, recipients. If your morning has a different gap, talk to our team and we'll help you write the Flow for it.
